CaptionMerge makes dual language captioning easy.

CaptionMerge was designed for caption authors and post production houses.
It is a software utility that runs under Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP.
It manipulates and combines ULTECH caption files (*.ult and *.uld).

CaptionMerge performs three functions:

• Convert a CC1 file to CC2 or CC3. Most caption authoring software can only export CC1 caption files, and they can't export CC2 or CC3 caption files. CaptionMerge solves this problem.
• Merge two caption files into one. This allows you to merge an English (CC1) file and a Spanish (CC2 or CC3) file together into one file. This saves valuable post production time by allowing you to encode the English and Spanish captions simultaneously in one pass.
• Convert and Merge. This combines the above two functions allowing you to convert a CC1 Spanish file to CC2 or CC3 and then merge it with a CC1 English file in one step.
