Welcome to the Stone Engineering Service, LLC web site!

Stone Engineering Service was established in 1992 by me (Tom Stone). I am a consultant engineer (BSEE) with 21 years of design engineering experience. I was the principal engineer at ULTECH for 6 years, and I still provide engineering and technical support to ULTECH as a consultant.

The ULTECH LLC facilities in Middlebury Connecticut closed in the summer of 2008. Technical support and repair for all ULTECH LLC products is now being provided by Stone Engineering Service LLC, the only factory authorized ULTECH support and repair service. For more information click here.

I also consult for Link Electronics. I handle all the engineering related to the Link HDE-3000 (formally the ULTECH DV3000) which Link purchased from ULTECH in October 2005.

I also consult for CPC (Computer Prompting and Captioning Company). I handle all the engineering related to their CPC CaptionMaker for Windows software (caption/subtitle authoring software for Windows).

I am available for software and hardware design and development, training, and technical consultation.

They are being manufactured by another company using the name "Ultech".
I only support the products that were manufactured by ULTECH LLC in Middlebury Connecticut USA.
ULTECH LLC only manufactured closed captioning equipment for television production and broadcast facilities.
